CHARLA DE MATHIEU LE SOURD [MAOTIK]
Mathieu Le Sourd (Maotik)[Canadá] es un artista de los Nuevos Medios especializado en el diseño y control de ambientes inmersivos e instalaciones de medios interactivos que investiga la relación entre el arte y la ciencia. Su trabajo pertenece a la esfera del diseño generativo, desarrollando sus propias herramientas visuales, generando animaciones desde algoritmos y creando mundos en 3D para transformar la percepción del espacio. Ha trabajado con músicos como Nine Inch Nails y How To Destroy Angels, así como con marcas como Omega y Chanel. En 2011 recibió el apoyo del DICREAM para la producción de su presentación multimedia inmersiva DROMOS. Presentada en el SATopshere durante el festival MUTEK Montreal en 2013, se convirtió en una performance aclamada por la crítica y difundida por los medios.

Mathieu Le Sourd (Maotik)[Canada] is a New Media artist specializing in the design and control of immersive environments and interactive media installations that investigates the relationship between art and science. His work belongs to the field of generative design, developing his own visual tools, generating animations from algorithms and creating 3D world to transform the perception of space. He has worked with musicians such as Nine Inch Nails and How To Destroy Angels, as well as brands such as Omega and Chanel. In 2011 he received the support of DICREAM for the production of his immersive multimedia presentation DROMOS. Presented at SATopshere during the MUTEK Montreal festival in 2013, it became a critically acclaimed performance broadcast by the media.

MADATAC, Muestra Internacional de Arte Digital Audiovisual y Tecnologías Acontemporáneas, llega a su octava edición habiéndose establecido en España como el referente de la cultura digital y del arte más experimental. MADATAC desafía las narrativas cinemáticas convencionales ofreciendo el arte audiovisual más transformador en una apuesta por el riesgo y la belleza. MADATAC difunde el arte de los nuevos medios y el videoarte más inédito, inclasificable y visionario, aquel que propicia el arte de ver lo inadvertido. MADATAC ha sido reconocida por un Jurado Internacional en Bruselas para recibir la distinción EFFE 2015-2016 por la calidad artística de la Muestra y tener un significativo impacto a nivel local, nacional e internacional.

MADATAC has been recognized by an International Jury in Brussels to receive the EFFE 2015-2016 distinction for the artistic quality of the Exhibition and to have a significant impact at local, national and international level.
