RADIACIONES DE LA MEMORIA: FUTUROS EN TRANSICIÓN

LA 13ª EDICIÓN DE MADATAC SE CENTRARÁ LIBREMENTE EN EL TEMA:

En el presente, la memoria ya no puede entenderse como un archivo fijo, intacto y plenamente disponible, sino como un territorio atravesado por fuerzas de transformación constante: los datos, la inestabilidad tecnológica, la aceleración algorítmica, la crisis ecológica, el conflicto geopolítico, la producción sintética de imágenes, la saturación informativa y las mutaciones de los sistemas de percepción maquínica. En este contexto, la memoria deja de concebirse como un archivo estable e inalterable, para revelarse como una materia vulnerable, mutable y expuesta a procesos de alteración, desplazamiento, contaminación y reescritura.

Esta nueva edición supondrá la continuidad de MADATAC en formato Bienal, por lo que se condensarán algunas de sus categorías a fin de ir optimizando recursos, necesidades y prospecciones, para a su vez alcanzar también la consolidación del Museo Virtual Transmadatac.

MADATAC 13th EDITION WILL FOCUS FREELY ON:

In the present, memory can no longer be understood as a fixed, intact and fully available archive, but rather as a territory traversed by forces of constant transformation: data, technological instability, algorithmic acceleration, ecological crisis, geopolitical conflict, the synthetic production of images,
information saturation and the transformations of systems of machine perception. In this context, memory ceases to be understood as a fixed and stable archive, revealing itself instead as a vulnerable, mutable material exposed to processes of alteration, displacement, contamination, and rewriting.

This new edition will ensure the continuation of MADATAC in a biennial format, therefore some of its categories will be condensed in order to optimize resources, needs and prospecting, in order to also achieve the consolidation of the Transmadatac Virtual Museum.
