AtomTM (Uwe Schmidt) presenta en MADATAC su set AV Deep State, una intensa performance que expone a la audiencia a 36 minutos de poderosos sonidos e imágenes basados en estructuras rítmicas minimalistas y repetitivas. Sin ningún contenido narrativo armónico, vocal o claramente definible, «Deep State» no solo se hace eco del significado social del término, sino que al mismo tiempo lleva al oyente de vuelta a su propia identidad, hacia un “estado profundo” interior. Visualmente, el set -life de AtomTM contrasta la acelerada y lineal repetición de la música con las imágenes en cámara lenta, sintetizadas hasta su máxima crudeza y simplicidad.

Mantric in nature, Atom™’s live set exposes the audience to intense 36 minutes of sound and visuals. Deep State explores the realms of reduced, repetitive rhythmical structures. Void of any harmonic, vocal or clearly definable narrative content, Deep State, not only touches upon the “outer”, social meaning of the term•, but at the same time throws the listener back onto his/ her proper nowness, the “inner” deep state. Visually, the live set contrasts the fast, linear repetition of the music with slow motion images, stripped down to maximum crudeness and simplicity.
